Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in Psychology, Education or related major with 2+ years in college access or advising.
• Experience completing apprenticeship and post-secondary and financial aid applications (FAFSA, TAP, etc.).
• Extensive experience editing college admissions essays.
• Strong presentation and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
• Willingness to travel within NYC; bilingual fluency advantageous (Spanish/French).

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive assistance to TRIO EOC participants applying for post-secondary opportunities.
• Support participants with researching and completing post-secondary and college admissions processes including essays and college choices.
• Assist with financial aid applications (FAFSA, TAP) and verify requirements.
• Provide workshops on career exploration, college admissions, and financial aid topics.
• Recruit TRIO EOC participants through outreach activities and events.
• Maintain accurate records of applicant progress and project activities.
