Improve Your Tomorrow (IYT) seeks a College Access Mentor Specialist to serve as the primary relationship-builder for students in grades 6–8. This full-time, field-based role leads bi-weekly mentorship, identity-centered programming, open study hall, and family engagement to build a supportive Brotherhood foundation.

You will own site culture, coordinate programming and study sessions, track attendance and progress in Salesforce, and collaborate with school staff and families.

Qualifications

• Patience, warmth and enthusiasm for working with middle/high school youth.
• Experience in tutoring, mentoring or youth development is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver 1:1 mentorship sessions focused on identity, belonging and college planning.
• Lead open study hall and supervise attendance and progress.
• Incorporate family engagement through regular touchpoints with caregivers.
• Document mentorship sessions and activities in Salesforce within 24 hours.
• Coordinate and deliver programming that supports 8th grade transition readiness.
