Job summary

Improve Your Tomorrow (IYT) seeks a College Advising Mentor Specialist to lead on-site programming for grades 9–12, ensuring daily mentorship and a strong college-going culture on campus.

You will provide 1:1 mentorship, run open study halls, engage families with quarterly touchpoints, monitor GPA and college readiness, and document progress in Salesforce with care and timeliness. This is a field-based, full-time role on a local school campus in Oakland, CA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior site-based leader for daily IYT programming on campus.
• Deliver 1:1 mentorship to students across grade levels.
• Lead structured programming and Brotherhood rituals.
• Engage families with quarterly touchpoints and updates.
• Monitor GPA, college eligibility progress, and attendance.
• Document mentorship sessions and attendance in Salesforce within 24 hours.
• Maintain up-to-date academic records and surface concerns.
