Job summary

Wichita State University is seeking a part-time, on-site position with the Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP program in Pittsburg, KS. The role supports student services with standard hours Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, with some evenings or weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities include data entry of transcripts and activities into the KKGU database, tracking student progress and FAFSA, and assisting with dual credit and tuition waiver processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of 60 credit hours of college coursework.
• At least one year experience working in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Enters transcripts, program activities and any documentation to the Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP database.
• Monitors and tracks student academic progress, graduation, enrollment in college and FAFSA completion.
• Assists students with KKGU dual credit application, DCF tuition waiver application and credit recovery, if needed.
• This position may be asked to help with program activities.
