Job summary

Wichita State University is seeking a regional program supervisor for Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP, a state-wide foster care program serving students in grades 7-12 and first-year college students. The role requires planning evening/weekend events, mentoring youth, and strong documentation across a multi-county region.

The position demands experience with foster care and education systems, ability to manage a team, and travel across western Kansas. Residency in the Pratt area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social services or related field required.
• Three (3) years of experience in educational program management with diverse populations.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and monitor services provided to students in each region.
• Collaborate with partners to set up services for students and document activities.
• Coordinate regional office activities including reporting and budget planning.
• Plan and deliver college access workshops, information sessions, and events.
• Travel within the region to support foster care students and ensure program goals.
