Job summary

TEKsystems in Louisville, KY is seeking an Insurance Claims Processor for a contract-to-hire role. You will prepare and process electronic insurance claims, verify data with payers, and submit to multiple lines of business.

The position requires a high school diploma, prefers medical billing/coding certification, strong communication, and ability to analyze AR, follow up on delinquent accounts, and resolve inquiries. Onsite workforce with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral; excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and think critically.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process electronic insurance claims for multiple payers daily.
• Verify data by conferring with agencies and payers.
• Research and correct error claims, resubmit as needed.
• Review AR reports and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Respond to payer inquiries and maintain AR schedules.
• Resolve customer requests and inquiries promptly.

• Prepare & process various insurance claims, verifies data by conferring with appropriate agencies on a daily basis. -Create & process electronic claims submission for various payers on a daily basis -Research any error claims & make corrections and resubmit -Reviews AR reports on a daily base & performs follow up on delinquent accounts -Receives, investigates, & responds to inquiries from payers and/or agencies concerning AR activity -Maintains & develops AR schedules to track issues & resolutions -Resolves all customer requests, inquiries, and concerns

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
