Job summary

Gold Rush Gaming is seeking a Route Collector to travel to venues and securely transport cash, log meter readings, and perform minor maintenance on gaming machines. The role requires careful attention to security and compliance.

Candidates must be 21+ with a valid IL driver’s license and a clean driving record, and must pass a background check with the Illinois Gaming Board. Early morning shifts are required and a high school diploma or GED is needed.

Responsibilities

• Set redemption loads for video gaming terminals and redemption terminals.

• Maintain excellent customer service with location staff and patrons.
• Assist in other duties as needed.

Job description

The mission of the route collector is to function as part of a team that collects, secures, and delivers cash to our locations. The route collector will travel to customer locations to securely transport cash, log meter readings, and perform minor maintenance on machines. The candidate must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and pass a detailed background check with the Illinois Gaming Board.

Job Responsibilities

• Setting redemption loads for video gaming terminals (VGT's) and redemption terminals (RT's)
• Replenishing cassettes, installing, maintaining and servicing amusement and video gaming equipment owned/operated by the Company located in contracted establishments
• Enforcing established rules and procedures intended to protect employees and customers
• Maintain exceptional Customer Service with location staff and patrons
• Assisting in other areas as needed

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to read, write and use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across departments.
• Prefer applicant to have carry and conceal license.
• EARLY MORNING SHIFT

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must be able to pass a background check with the Illinois Gaming Board which includes fingerprinting.
