Bring at least 2 years of third-party debt collection experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work onsite in Colorado. We offer commissions, benefits, and a team-focused environment.

What You'll Do

As a Collections Specialist, you’ll play an important role in helping LCS achieve its recovery goals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' individual financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work onsite in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a high-volume collections’ environment.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Experience negotiating settlements and payment arrangements.Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Previous experience consistently meeting or exceeding collection goals.
