Qualifications

• Minimum one year of call center experience.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills to represent the Credit Union.
• Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Makes collection contacts to assigned delinquent accounts and performs tasks to aid collection of past due accounts.
• Contacts members by phone, email, text or live chat to determine the reason for delinquency and arrange a remedy.
• Maintains and updates member records; documents all communications and collection activities.
• Processes payments and applies funds accurately to delinquent accounts.
• Performs skip-tracing duties as required.
• Initiates workflow for modifications, TD R, hardships and refers to financial counseling resources.
• Monitors department email and responds promptly; supports community service initiatives.
