Job summary

GoodLeap in the United States is seeking a Collections Specialist to resolve overdue bills and collect payments from individuals or businesses responsible for the debt. You will identify accounts with past-due payments and work toward bringing loans to current status.

You will maintain daily, weekly and monthly collection targets and handle outbound and inbound calls with clients to resolve debts owed, all in compliance with GoodLeap’s collections policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of direct experience in credit and collections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Telemarketing experience with financial products is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Team player with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Increase the collection of outstanding payments within our personal finance department, as an individual contributor in the collections process
• Identify accounts with overdue payments and find solutions to help bring their loan to a current status
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly collection and metric goals
• Outbound/Inbound calls with clients to resolve debts owed
• All in compliance with Goodleap’s collections policies and procedures
