Job summary

AWP Safety in the United States is seeking a Customer Relations Collections Specialist to deliver excellence in service while safeguarding revenue. This role focuses on accurate, timely invoicing and collaboration across Field, Billing, Sales, and Accounts Receivable to ensure payments are received within terms.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years AR/Billing experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; prior ERP experience with

Qualifications

• 3–5 years AR/Billing experience preferred.
• Pay application, lien waiver, and contract management experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Basic accounting knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform collections aligned to dunning timelines.
• Execute outreach via email, calls, and portals.
• Maintain accurate updates using standardized statuses.
• Resolve customer inquiries and discrepancies timely; document outcomes.
• Collaborate with Field, Billing, Sales, and AR teams to ensure payments within terms.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors with templates.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with customers.
• Communicate with internal and external customers.
• Participate in governance calls and daily huddles as required.
• Provide training and support as requested.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
