Job summary

The Intersect Group in Atlanta is seeking a Bilingual Collections Specialist to join our growing Accounts Receivable team. You will handle high-volume calls and emails to resolve past-due balances and negotiate payment arrangements.

This role offers a path to permanent employment after 90 days and a fast-paced environment designed to expand your credit and collections experience. Fluency in Spanish and English is required for customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• 2+ years in Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Finance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Outgoing, personable, and confident with customers.
• Reliable and responsive communicator.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls and emails to customers regarding past-due balances
• Negotiate payment arrangements and secure payment commitments
• Follow up to ensure payments are received as agreed
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies impacting collections
• Work with internal teams to address missing POs, PODs, and other payment obstacles
• Review aging reports and identify high-risk accounts
• Place accounts on credit hold when necessary and communicate updates to Sales teams
• Assist with lien documentation, legal referrals, and agency placements when collection efforts have been exhausted
• Maintain detailed collection notes and ensure all activity is accurately documented within ERP and credit systems

• Maintain detailed collection notes and ensure all activity is accurately documented within ERP and credit systems

What We're Looking For:
