Job summary

Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers Inc. is seeking a proactive Collections Specialist at our Ocoee, FL branch.

You will contact customers, manage account issues, and coordinate with service teams to ensure accurate, timely billing and collections in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate has at least three years of collections or customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of collection/customer service experience.
  • Outgoing, energetic, friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to build rapport and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
  • Must be a self-starter who is assertive in a pleasing way.
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
  • Proficient use of computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Contacts customers as needed prior to, or following, service and alarm work to ensure communication and satisfaction with the job performed.
  • Enters work orders from customer calls and discusses scope of work, customer needs, and urgency.
  • Coordinates with WAFS staff to handle customer needs and follows up to ensure completion.
  • In emergencies may coordinate dispatching of technician with superintendent.
  • Maintains dispatch board with supervisor and/or Service Manager, updates status and contacts customers about upcoming service calls.
  • Provides information about other WAFS services and routes requests accordingly.
  • Communicates service concerns to department or branch manager for resolution.
  • Monitors customer accounts and suggests solutions to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Provides administrative support for branch operations, including invoice and pay applications, collections for ISA/commercial/underground, and permit submittal packages.

This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a customer-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, and enjoys supporting a team while keeping projects and information well organized. We are looking for individuals who are bold, curious, innovative, and caring.Responsibilities for this role includeContacts customers as needed prior to, or following, service and alarm work to ensure communication and satisfaction with the job performed. In some locations, this position may also follow up on inspections.Enters work orders from customer call ins and discusses scope of work, customer needs pertinent information and urgency. Communicates with appropriate WAFS staff to handle the customer’s needs and follows up to ensure completion. In emergency situations may coordinate dispatching of technician with superintendent.Assists with the maintenance of the dispatch board with the superintendent and/or Service Manager.
