Collections Scheduler

Position Summary

We are seeking a full‑time Collections Scheduler to support our busy Collections practice. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced legal environment. The Collections Scheduler will work closely with attorneys, clients, debtors, and court staff to ensure cases move efficiently through the legal process.

Key Responsibilities
Legal & Court Support
  • Draft pleadings, hearing notices, and related legal documents.
  • Prepare files and materials for pre‑court and post‑court needs.
  • Attend and assist with court hearings alongside the attorney.
  • Coordinate hearing and trial dates with court staff.
Communication & Case Management
  • Draft and send form letters to debtors.
  • Communicate with clients and debtors regarding case updates, scheduling, and documentation needs.
  • Perform occasional electronic filing (e‑filing) with the court.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate case schedules, calendars, and deadlines.
  • Organize and track case materials to ensure timely workflow.
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall department operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a legal, collections, or administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
