• Sends texts, mails letters and/or notices to encourage payment on delinquent accounts.
• Confer with customers by text or phone to determine reasons for overdue payments and review terms.
• Documents all correspondence and attempted correspondence with customers.
• Receives payments and posts amounts to customer accounts.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer with secure handling when unattended.
• Travels to customers’ homes to collect payments and assist with repossessions as approved.
• Prepares paperwork prior to initiating legal action for severely late-paying customers.
• Initiates credit investigations by phone for new applicants under the Credit Manager.
• Logs details of work activities daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Reviews and processes incoming documents and reports; uses office equipment and software.
• Logs service requests into CRM and schedules merchandise repairs.
• Assists customers on the sales floor and participates in floor rotation.
• Keeps an acceptable sales quota as set by Store Manager.
• Complies with Customer Service Counter and Telephone Standards.
• Upholds H.O.M.E. values in daily work and leadership.
