Job description

The Collections Manager is responsible for the daily supervision of the Collections Units.

Responsibilities
  • Daily operations supervision and oversight: manage daily operations in Collections, including work queues, phone assignments, and employee development.
  • Manage schedules and assignments for effective delinquency and charge‑off management.
  • Monitor past‑due loans to prevent charge‑offs and handle consumer loan products, legal actions, and bankruptcy within policy guidelines to optimize recovery.
  • Review and resolve escalated calls and account research requests, addressing member issues timely and professionally.
  • Assist in training and development of employees and/or management staff; complete quality reviews and agent development; assess employee performance and administer disciplinary action.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and manage risks within assigned responsibilities.
  • Evaluate third‑party agencies and conduct annual risk assessments; provide relevant support for their operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work a mixed schedule Monday–Friday with variable hours and occasional Saturday shifts; onsite two days a week with Thursday set day in office.
