Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the collections team.

• Monitor and assign workloads to ensure timely follow-up on past-due accounts.

• Develop and implement collection strategies to reduce delinquency rates.

• Train, coach, and support staff to meet department goals.

• Handle escalated collection issues and negotiate payment solutions.

• Collaborate with leadership, compliance and legal departments to maximize collections, resolve disputes, and maintain compliance.

• Prepare and present regular reports on collections performance and KPIs.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations (e.g., FDCPA, TCPA, CFPB, Reg F).

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in collections, with 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of relevant laws and best practices in credit and collections.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years Sales or Customer Service Experience

• Experience in Student Loans, Mortgage or Large Balance Collections.

• Bilingual (Spanish, French, etc.) is a plus.
