Job summary

Jobtailor in Solon, OH seeks a driven professional to manage unauthorized deductions, pursue repayments, and drive mitigations. You will partner with Credit Management, Sales, and BSC to recover funds and improve processes using Power BI and AI tools.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in credit/AR, strong data analysis, and excellent communication. Travel up to 10% domestically may be required; ERP and BI skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Business, Accounting or Finance.
• Availability/flexibility to work different shifts based on customer geography/time zone.
• Must be able to travel approximately 5–10% domestically, as needed.
• 1–2 years’ experience in credit, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance preferred.
• Experience in the CPG industry preferred.
• SAP accounts receivable system experience preferred.
• Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Well-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skills.
• Strong and creative problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Research unauthorized deduction trends and root causes and pursue repayment.
• Collaborate with Credit Management and Sales to recover unauthorized deductions.
• Submit repayment requests via portals or email and follow up.
• Conduct internal/external discussions to secure repayment.
• Perform root-cause analysis to maximize repayment and mitigation.
• Review processes for managing unauthorized deductions and suggest improvements.
• Prepare management reports and assist with dashboarding in Power BI.
• Identify opportunities for automated solutions using AI bots and Power BI.
• Liaise with internal/external customers to maintain rapport.
