Job summary

U.S. Bank in Minnesota is seeking a Collector to help customers resolve payment obligations and navigate options that protect both the customer and the bank. You will build relationships with clients, assess options, and document interactions to ensure accurate records.

The role emphasizes communication, problem-solving, and empathy while supporting a fast-paced, compliant environment. In-office presence is required three or more days per week at Marshall or Saint Paul locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to four years of relevant experience.
• Experience in banking, collections, retail, call center, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers regarding payment obligations, account status, invoices, and contractual agreements.
• Educate customers on available options and help identify appropriate solutions.
• Manage a high volume of outbound communications while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate account information.
• Partner with customer service, operations, and other teams to deliver a strong customer experience.
• Balance productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
