Job summary

Genserve, a multi-entity field service provider, seeks a Collections & Cash Applications Analyst in Tampa. You will optimize the back half of order-to-cash, applying payments across entities, performing cash reconciliation, and using AI tools to raise accuracy and throughput.

You’ll diagnose payment issues, not just chase them, and work with Sage, NetSuite, Salesforce, and QuickBooks in a dynamic, ambiguity-tolerant environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of commercial collections and/or cash application experience, ideally multi-entity.
• Hands-on ERP experience (Sage, NetSuite) and strong Excel skills (pivots, lookups).
• Strong data and analytical skills with ability to defend conclusions.
• Working fluency with AI tools and judgment to verify AI output.
• Ability to hold firm on collections while preserving customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own collections for a national portfolio and manage credit policy escalation.
• Apply incoming payments across multiple entities and reconcile AR to GL.
• Build short-cycle collections forecasts and monitor DSO and aging.
• Identify root causes of non-payment and route to upstream owners.
