Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Collections Associate to join the finance team in the Tampa Bay area. The role focuses on resolving past-due balances, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with billing, credit, and operations to improve cash flow.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of B2B collections experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Tampa’s business community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B collections experience.
• Strong understanding of collections practices, account reconciliation, and billing processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to independently research issues and drive resolutions.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in accounts receivable is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience resolving complex payment discrepancies and customer account issues is a plus.

Responsibilities
