Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one-year consumer collection experience in a high call volume environment.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including FDCPA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in servicing inbound and outbound calls with excellent customer service.
• Initiate outbound calls to secure payments or timely payment arrangements.
• Negotiate payment solutions while maintaining performance standards.
• Maintain accurate notes and records on customer accounts.
• Engage in active listening to address concerns and complaints.
• Conduct skip-tracing to generate potential leads on customers or collateral.
• Review accounts for repossession when appropriate and mitigate delinquency.
