Responsibilities

• Supervise the designated collection team: train, assign schedules, manage time-off requests, monitor performance, and ensure goals are met.
• Create procedures to ensure goals are met; may be set by client or senior management.
• Comply with policies and procedures of Zwicker & Associates, P.C.
• Comply with FDCPA and state consumer protection laws.
• Provide regular updates on collection metrics, trends, and team performance.
• Track all payments and notify financial operations of any posting issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Zwicker is presently seeking a Collection Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL. We are seeking a candidate with exemplary leadership, communication, organizational, and litigation skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, proven to be a successful motivator of people and manager of processes. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are required. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and driven to perform.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 per year, plus applicable bonus.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in call center management, preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in consumer collections, preferably third-party
• Knowledge of the FDCPA and State Consumer Protection Laws
• Must be able to perform all collection duties
• Ability to work professionally and courteously with consumers, coworkers, and clients
• Effective decision-making skills
• Excellent coaching/mentoring skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
• Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
• Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
• Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence

Physical Qualifications

• Be able to lift five pounds or greater

• Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
