City of Englewood seeks a Collection Development Librarian to curate physical and digital materials for all ages in our Englewood community. You will support service points, act as person-in-charge, promote resources, and collaborate across departments.
The role emphasizes building processes, vendor relationships, budgeting within parameters, and data-driven collection planning. MLS/MLIS is required, with public library experience preferred, and a willingness to engage with staff and patrons.
The Collection Development Librarian selects the physical and digital collections for all ages that are relevant and engaging to the Englewood community with the support of library departments. They are a team player including supporting service points, acting as person-in-charge, promoting materials and services, and engaging with the larger team. The ideal candidate is comfortable with participating in building and refining processes and able to approach work with flexibility and curiosity.

Master's degree in library and information science from an ALA accredited program or completion of a master's degree in library and information science within six months of hire required.
