Job summary

Ellucian seeks a talented Colleague technical Consultant to provide ongoing guidance and support for Colleague post-implementation. You will build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, troubleshoot operational issues, and help customers maximize value from Ellucian solutions across the student lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on Colleague administration, knowledge of Ethos Integration, ILP, and DataConnect, and comfort working with SQL Server, scripting, and modern security

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Ellucian product technical experience in a customer-facing role.
• Hands-on experience providing technical support for Colleague.
• Experience patching/upgrading Colleague and admin of Colleague ecosystem.
• SSO configuration experience (CAS and SAML2).
• Ethos Integration configuration and administration experience.
• Knowledge of Colleague architecture and data layers.
• Microsoft SQL Server database administration (DBA).
• Shell scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly (typically weekly) with each customer to maintain open communication.
• Work with customer to understand goals, priorities, processes and challenges related to the supported applications.
• Provide guidance and assist with reviewing, planning and deploying changes and new functionality.
• Review and modernize existing business processes, troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, guide on new modules or functionality in Colleague.
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions for specific customer needs.
• Promote Ellucian resources such as Solution Center, product documentation and Communities.
