Wintrust Financial Corporation, based in Rosemont, IL, seeks a Collateral Specialist - Lien Perfection to ensure proper tracking and perfection of collateral for consumer and commercial loans. You will create exceptions, establish lien perfection, and maintain complete collateral folders while adhering to SLAs.

The role requires a High School diploma, 3+ years in banking operations, and familiarity with loan documents.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in back-office loan processing for commercial, residential and small business loans.
• 3+ years in an office or operations environment servicing banking lines of business.
• Highly organized with ability to handle a high volume of tasks within service levels.
• IBS system experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Create necessary exceptions for new loans and renewals to track required documentation.
• Perfect collateral in various forms to ensure proper lien, recording or statements.
• Review documentation packages for completeness and clear exceptions.
• Complete tasks within assigned SLAs.
• Create and track exceptions for original loan documentation.
• Establish collateral lien perfection (Mortgage Recording, UCC filing, Vehicle Title Liens, etc.).
• Review original loan packages for completeness and clear related items.
• Create collateral folders for new loans and file in vault.
• Ensure trailing documents are filed in collateral folders.
• Research inquiries from line of business regarding collateral.
• Assist with audits, research requests and department projects.
