Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is seeking a Data and Training Coordinator within the Division of Community Engagement to support documentation, analysis, and communication of campus partnerships. The role focuses on implementing Collaboratory and building campus-wide capacity for data-informed reporting.

You will train faculty and staff, develop dashboards, and deliver accessible data narratives that highlight impact across teaching, research, service, and clinical activities at VCU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in respectful, professional environments with diverse faculty, staff and students.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage complex projects.
• Strategic thinking; connect engagement efforts to institutional priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordinator for Collaboratory implementation and use.
• Build relationships with faculty, staff, and researchers to document partnerships.
• Provide one-on-one and group training on Collaboratory usage.
• Organize data-entry efforts to ensure complete, accurate partnership records.
• Design and deliver trainings, workshops, and support sessions.
• Translate engagement activity into visuals and narratives with data.
• Develop dashboards and reports illustrating campus engagement impact.
