Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for a Montgomery, AL school setting. You will implement individualized instruction, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure IEP goals and student progress are met.

Responsibilities include delivering standards-based instruction aligned to the Alabama Course of Study, developing IEPs, leading IEP meetings, data-driven progress monitoring, and maintaining accurate records.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional certificate in the area of responsibility issued by the Alabama State Department of Education.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills."School-based experience" is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver standards-based instruction aligned with the Alabama Course of Study (ACOS) and develop engaging lesson plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with multidisciplinary teams to address student goals and accommodations.
• Facilitate IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and communicate progress with families and staff.
• Utilize differentiated instruction and educational technology to maximize engagement and achievement.
• Maintain accurate student records, reports, and compliance per regulations.
• Support school operations through collaboration and participation in professional meetings.
