Job summary
Gotham Enterprises Ltd in Hollywood, FL, seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner for a primary care practice. You will diagnose, treat, and educate a diverse patient population, manage chronic and acute cases, and collaborate with a 5-doctor, 5-NP team to provide comprehensive care.
The role requires a Florida NP license, ANP/FNP certification, and DEA, with 40-hour weeks Monday to Friday until 5:00 PM; strong communication and patient-centered care are essential.
Qualifications
- Active Florida NP license required.
- ANP/FNP certification and DEA number required for prescribing.
- Two+ years in primary care or similar clinical/hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and review medical histories to establish diagnoses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage chronic and acute illnesses with patient-centered care.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens per best practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate care with team.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and research.
