Work Environment

Situated onsite at our well-established hospital facility in Hollywood, Florida, our work environment is both collaborative and supportive. You will be working in a fast-paced yet fulfilling setting that facilitates open communication among healthcare professionals. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday, with shifts concluding by 5:00 PM. This schedule allows for work-life balance while ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patient medical histories to establish health diagnoses.
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging studies, to guide treatment plans.
  • Diagnose health conditions and develop patient-centered care strategies for both chronic and acute illnesses.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment protocols in accordance with best practices and patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage schedules efficiently to ensure cohesive workflow.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, preventive care, and prescribed treatments.
  • Implement disease prevention initiatives and promote healthy lifestyle choices within the community.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and research to stay current with healthcare advancements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at our facility, you will care for a diverse patient population ranging from individuals with chronic diseases to those requiring urgent care interventions. The variety of cases you will encounter will allow you to utilize your full scope of practice and clinical expertise while fostering a strong therapeutic relationship with patients. You will play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes by providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner studies is preferred.
  • Must possess an active and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.
  • Relevant certifications (ANP/FNP) and DEA number are mandatory for prescribing medications.
  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in clinical or hospital settings is essential, with particular emphasis on primary care.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to ethical patient care are necessary.
  • A collaborative team spirit and a positive, patient-centered attitude are crucial for this role.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of relevant experience in one or more of the following specialties: acute care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or emergency department settings. A bilingual ability is a plus, enhancing communication with our diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits
