Job summary

MultiCare Auburn Medical Center is seeking an Integrated Mental Health Therapist (IMHT) to join a multidisciplinary team embedded in a primary care clinic. The IMHT will provide evidence-based behavioral health services, work with a Psychiatric Consultant and PCP, and support symptom reduction and optimal outcomes.

The role includes assessments, treatment planning, and psychosocial therapy. It requires a master's degree in a related field and licensure (LMFT/LMHC/LISCW) with at least two years

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• A Mental Health Professional defined per HB 1724 with LMFT/LMHC/LISCW credentials.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient's symptoms and creates customized treatment plans.
• Screens for common behavioral health disorders using PHQ9, GAD7, Columbia Suicide Risk Assessment.
• Monitors symptoms and treatment side effects to reduce symptoms.
• Supports psychotropic medication management in collaboration with PCPs.
• Tracks patient follow-up and clinical outcomes using a registry.
• Facilitates care plan changes and appropriate referrals.
• Manages behavioral health crises as they arise in primary care.
• Provides flexible behavioral health services, including warm handoffs during visits.
