Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, collaborative anesthesia team serving as the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at a community hospital in Rutland, Vermont. This is a supportive, team-oriented environment with CAAs and CRNAs.

The role includes general, regional, and MAC anesthesia, pre-op evaluations, and a shared weekday call schedule.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Vermont medical license and hospital privileges.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stability.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, CRNAs, and CAAs.
• Participate in shared weekday call schedule (3–4 shifts per month).
• Ensure timely documentation and regulatory compliance.
