Job summary

Akron Children's pediatric gastroenterology division seeks a physician to join a collaborative, academically driven team of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners. You will advance clinical care, education, and research while meeting the needs of a growing patient population.

Requirements include MD or DO degree and board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology; Ohio medical license eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Ohio license.
• Active involvement in education/mentorship of residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric gastroenterology patient care within a collaborative team.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship of residents, medical students, and fellows.
• Contribute to academic missions through research and clinical education.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
