Job summary

Akron Children's in Ohio is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven division of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners dedicated to advancing clinical, educational, and research missions.

The successful candidate will educate residents, medical students, and fellows, provide comprehensive GI care for children, and participate in research and recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires MD or DO degree and board certification in pediatrics.
• Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology is required.
• Ability to obtain an active Ohio medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative, academically driven team of pediatric gastroenterologists and nurse practitioners.
• Educate and mentor pediatric residents, medical students, and gastroenterology fellows.
• Provide comprehensive GI care for pediatric patients and participate in academic activities.

Education
