Job summary

Akron Children's in Ohio is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically oriented division of 12 GI physicians and 7 nurse practitioners. You will provide expert clinical care, participate in resident education and mentor trainees, and contribute to research to advance child health.

Requirements include MD or DO, board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Ohio licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology (ABP).
• Eligibility for Ohio medical license or current license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to pediatric GI patients.
• Mentor and teach residents, medical students, and GI fellows.
• Engage in academic activities and research to advance pediatric GI care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
