Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a Board-Certified/eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven division. You will work with experienced clinicians and contribute to clinical care, education, and research.

Ohio licensure is required, with a strong focus on mentorship and resident education. The Division covers GI, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders with subspecialty expertise.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics
• Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners
• Advance the division's clinical, educational, and research missions
• Educate and mentor pediatric residents, medical students, and fellows
