Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking a warehouse associate to join our team in Glendale Heights, IL. The role operates in a freezer environment and involves shipping/receiving duties, order selection and inventory control.

Primary responsibilities include loading/unloading, stack organization, and ensuring product safety and accuracy. Training is provided; prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Good organizational and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse technology, such as a scanning tool.
• Talent Inventory - such as decision making, attention to detail, conceptual thinking.

Responsibilities

• Full case order selection.
• Oversee and manage carrying, sorting, loading and unloading product.
• Track inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect product for defects or damage, document and report accordingly.
• Ensures that product is packed and secured properly.
• Move product of varying weights in a freezer with safety measures.
• Optimize loads for operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate warehouse machines, such as a forklift.
• May be required to clean various areas of the warehouse.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
