Job summary

KeHE Distributors in Glendale Heights, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving in a freezer environment. You will perform full case order selection, load and unload orders, and track inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

All training is provided; a high school diploma is preferred. Benefits start after 30 days, including health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and more. Evening shift 5:00 PM–11:00 PM, full-time.

Qualifications

• Good organizational and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse technology, such as a scanning tool.
• Strong attention to detail and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Full case order selection.
• Oversee and manage carrying, sorting, loading and unloading product.
• Track inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect product for defects or damage, document and report accordingly.
• Ensure product is packed and secured properly.
• Move product of various weight capacity and use safety measures in freezer.
• Optimize loads to improve efficiency.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment.
• May operate warehouse machines, such as a forklift.
• May be required to clean various areas of the warehouse.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
