Job summary

KeHE Distributors in Glendale Heights, IL is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving in a freezer environment. You will select full case orders, move and load stock, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced cold-storage setting.

The role offers evening shifts 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with benefits after 30 days and a pay rate of $22.84 per hour. Prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Warehouse experience helpful but not required; training provided.
• Good organizational and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse technology, such as a scanning tool.
• Attention to detail and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Full case order selection.
• Oversee and manage carrying, sorting, loading and unloading product.
• Track inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect product for defects or damage, document and report accordingly.
• Ensures that product is packed and secured properly.
• Move product in freezer environment and optimize loads for efficiency.
• Preserve a clean and safe working environment.
• May operate warehouse machines, such as a Forklift.
• May be required to clean various areas of the warehouse.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
