Quirch Foods in Houston, TX seeks a warehouse selector to pick from pick tickets in a refrigerated environment. You will operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks, identify inventory, and ensure proper FIFO packing and shipping.

The role requires 18+ years, ability to work Sunday-Thursday, and willingness to extend hours and holidays. Safety-minded and English-proficient candidates welcome.

Competenze

• Must read, write and comprehend English to perform tasks.
• Experience operating powered equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Able to lift and move items up to 100 pounds.

Mansioni

• Follow directions to select product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and related equipment as needed.
• Identify and pick cases from inventory locations accurately.
• Palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack product on pallets in a specific sequence and location.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Return undelivered or mis-picked items to inventory locations.
• Transport product to shipping area within time constraints.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Observe safe handling techniques and cooperate with team.
• Adhere to attendance policy and complete shifts as scheduled.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE.
• Handle cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
