Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a warehouse selector to join our refrigerated/frozen warehousing team. The role involves picking from pick tickets, operating powered equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack), and ensuring correct FIFO order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate can read and communicate in English, lift up to 100 pounds, and work Sundays through Thursdays with possible extended shifts and holidays. Experience in CK31/CK71 scanning is a plus, and CKF SQF familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse selector role.
• Able to operate powered equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
• Familiar with CK31 and CK71 scanners.
• Able to work in refrigerated environments (0–36°F).
• Lift up to 100 lbs and stand/walk for shift duration.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions to select product from pick tickets.
• Operate forklift and electric pallet jack as needed.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack product on pallets in correct sequence.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling.
• Return undelivered or mis-picked product to inventory.
• Transport product to shipping area within required time.
• Adhere to all safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
