Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a warehouse selector to accurately pick product from pick tickets in a refrigerated environment. You will operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks, palletize and scan orders using FIFO, and place items in a precise pallet configuration for shipment.

Applicants should be at least 18, able to read English, and capable of working Sunday through Thursday with extended hours as needed. Safety and attendance are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a warehouse environment as a selector.
• Experience operating powered equipment (electric pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment 0–36 degrees.
• Read labels, pick lists, scanners, and shipping papers.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions involving selecting product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse environment.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and any additional equipment as needed.
• Accurately picking, palletizing, wrapping and scanning orders using FIFO.
• Hand stacking product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipment.
• Transport product from storage to designated shipping area within target time.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE and maintain safety standards.
