Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a warehouse selector for our refrigerated/frozen facility. You will accurately pick from pick tickets, operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure FIFO shipping.

You will stack, wrap, and scan orders while maintaining product integrity and safety standards. The role requires reading and understanding English, working Sundays through Thursdays, with extended hours and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment as a selector operating powered equipment (e.g., electric pallet jack, forklift).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform labeling, scanning, and shipping paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions to pick product from a pick ticket in refrigerated/frozen warehouse.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and other MHE as needed.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack product on pallets in correct sequence and location.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Return undelivered or mis-picked product to proper locations.
• Transport product to shipping area within time requirements.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE.
• Handle cleaning and maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Plus other duties as assigned.
