Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC is seeking a warehouse picker to accurately select products from pick tickets in a refrigerated and frozen environment. You will operate equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts, identify inventory, palletize, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO.

The role requires reading and understanding English, previous warehouse experience with powered equipment, and familiarity with CK31/CK71 scanners; SQF certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform tasks such as reading labels, pick lists and shipping papers.
• Experience in a warehouse as a selector operating powered equipment including electric pallet jack and forklift.
• Familiar with CK31 & CK71 scanners; SQF certification preferred.
• Able to work in refrigerated/frozen environment (0–36°F).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift 20–100 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions to pick product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and other equipment as needed.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations and palletize/wrap orders.
• Use FIFO system to scan and ship orders; transport product to shipping area timely.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Maintain safety and attendance policies; perform pre/post inspections on MHE.
