Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate to handle general warehouse functions in freezer, cooler and dry environments. You will load, unload, pick, receive, put-away, replenish, and select products per PWMs, using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

The role requires the ability to work in a team, pass a pallet jack certification, and lift up to 100 pounds while following strict safety and food-safety standards. This is a full-time position with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum six months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Certification on material handling equipment or ability to become certified.
• Able to lift up to 50-100 pounds and work in cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow directed pick path, select products, label, stage, and transport.
• Stack pallets securely with appropriate weight distribution.
• Inspect product for shortages or damage and report issues.
• Operate MHE safely and perform daily equipment checks.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety rules.
