Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate in Jacksonville, FL to accurately pick products, prepare orders for shipping, and stack pallets in a clean, safe environment. You will attach labels, move pallets with an electric pallet jack, and adhere to GMP and SQF policies.

Responsibilities include reading orders, assembling shipments, reporting damages, and performing daily equipment checks while standing 10–12 hours daily in a temperature-controlled warehouse.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• 0-1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to lift 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent reaching to 72 inches and standing 10–12 hours daily.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot/description.
• Assemble orders from stock and place on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move goods to dock for staging.
• Report damage to merchandise, equipment or facility.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in facility clean-up and sign off on assigned areas.
• Sign in/out for all equipment used.
• Follow GMP, hygiene and SQF policies and procedures.
