Job summary

SYSCO in Charlotte, NC is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for all general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, picks and replenishments. The role requires working in freezer, cooler and dry environments with extreme temperatures and following PWMs and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and verify against documentation.
• Enter/scan LPN, catch-weight, lot and dates into the warehouse management system using RF.
• Record counts and weights, compare to bills of lading and invoices.
• Monitor product temperatures in refrigerated and frozen sections and follow PWMs.
• Maintain neat and safe work areas and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE safely and in compliance with PWMs.
