Job summary

Vertical Cold Storage is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the 1st shift (8:30a - 5p) in Richardson, TX. This full-time clerical role requires handling customer inquiries, order processing, and coordinating with warehouse operations to ensure accurate, timely service.

You will maintain strong customer relationships, process receipts and counts in the system, and ensure proper billing per tariff rates.

Qualifications

High school diploma or its equivalent.
2-3 years customer service or warehouse office experience.
Excellent communication skills with ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

Act as liaison between the warehouse and the customer, maintaining relationships and handling inquiries, orders, and complaints.
Check drivers in/out and coordinate with dock operations; notify warehouse of arrival and schedule.
Enter receipts and verify counts; ensure product is accurately located in the system.
Verify orders are entered correctly and communicated to warehouse staff.
Allocate product to orders per customer instructions and ensure proper shipment from WMS.
Bill customers accurately for services based on tariff rates and negotiated terms.
Resolve issues by clarifying, selecting best solutions, and following up.
Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing data per procedures.
Operate multiple phone lines and maintain efficient customer communication.
Support inter-departmental workflow and maintain a safe work environment.
