Job summary

Vertical Cold Storage LLC is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Specialist in Richardson, TX. This full-time role focuses on cold storage warehousing, receiving and shipping, and inventory management with powered equipment.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, validating inventory, and maintaining safety and housekeeping in a freezer environment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with strong math and customer-service aptitude valued.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse/distribution experience desired.
• Prior use of forklift and other motorized equipment preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Use strong math skills to count and multiply accurately.

Responsibilities

• Verify items received and shipped by checking information and inspecting condition.
• Maintain inventory by labeling and placing materials in stock and recording locations.
• Prepare product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading and securing product.
• Document shipment details using defined processes.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles to move pallets and cases.
• Maintain equipment through pre-use inspections and safe practices.
• Use scanners to track inventory locations and quantities.
• Ensure pallet and case integrity; report substandard items to supervision.
• Place labels on cases per customer specifications.
• Contribute to team by performing related tasks and ensuring safety.
