Job summary

The Maryland Food Bank in Baltimore is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for distribution. You will operate warehouse equipment and assist Market Place operations while providing excellent customer service to Partner Agencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill agency orders by using the warehouse technology system to pull products and load cases onto pallets.
• Regularly pull orders in freezer environments with temperatures below 0°F.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.
• Load and unload trailers while providing excellent customer service to partner agencies, vendors, and internal staff.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
• Perform basic data entry and maintain knowledge of the ERP system.
• Assist other operational departments as needed based on daily warehouse requirements.
• Provide support during special events as required.
